About Megan

Megan grew up in Northern BC in just about every town along Highway 16- She’s lived in Burns Lake, Houston, Smithers, Terrace, and Prince Rupert! Her family hails from the Okanagan, and she is Indigenous to the Upper Similkameen Peoples (Syilx), however she spent most of her youth with the Lake Babine Band in Burns Lake.

While in Terrace, Megan volunteered as a Costuming Assistant and Backstage Tech for The Raven Collective with Marianne Borup-Weston, which specializes in Indigenous Plays and Actors, and was available for help on productions of The Rez Sisters by Tomson Highway, and Someday by Drew Hayden Taylor. Megan also attended the University of Victoria for Fine Arts, and while there was part of a longrunning Dramatic Improv Group.
Also while at UVic, she met the love of her life, and eventual Husband, Matt- He somehow manages to put up with her terrible puns and the weird noises that end up coming from her recording booth.

Megan has worked a variety of jobs including Lifeguard, Tea Seller, and Cheesemonger, as well as a Quality Assurance Technician for a Pharmaceutical company.

Her passions are Voiceacting (Of Course-), Tea, Knitting, Art, and Roleplaying- She’s been a part of many longrunning Dungeons and Dragons (5e & 3.5), Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Vampire: The Masquerade, and Changeling: The Lost games, both as a Player and as a Storyteller. She feels that Roleplaying Games are a big part of Voiceacting, as they teach how to take on a character in a way that is conducive to the acting you have to do behind the mic.
